Free, Personalized Virtual K-12 Program for New Mexico Families

ELIGIBILITY

Students must be: 

• Full-time residents of New Mexico and 
• Age 5 by September 1 of the upcoming school year or
  Age 21 or younger by the first day of school

FLEXIBILITY

All courses are fully online, offering flexibility to meet the needs of every learner. Live sessions with teachers are available throughout the day, and tutoring support is accessible whenever your child needs it, not just during traditional school hours.

ONLINE & IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITIES

At RISE, learning goes beyond the screen. Students can join clubs, take field trips, and work on hands-on projects, both online and in person. Middle and high schoolers can also join local activities and sports.

Kindergarten and Elementary School

Middle School

RISE Online Academy New Mexico is the official virtual program of Gallup-McKinley County Schools (GMCS), a public school district recognized by the New Mexico Public Education Department. Your child’s education will meet the state’s highest standards — and they’ll graduate with an accredited New Mexico diploma from GMCS.
